Meet Janet, Receptionist at Monroe Dental Care

I have enjoyed a rich and fulfilling career, having held many roles over the years, the longest being with Chrysler Corporation, where I worked as an administrative assistant for 30 years before retiring. While I valued my time there, after a year of retirement, I realized I wanted to return to the workforce. That decision led me to a position as a receptionist for a dental office—a role that allowed me to connect with people and be part of a caring healthcare environment.

Eventually, I joined Dr. Beattie’s office, where I worked until his retirement. Today, I am proud to be part of Monroe Dental Care, P.C., working alongside Dr. Zahraa Allohaibi and our exceptional team to provide patients with a warm welcome, helpful guidance, and reliable administrative support.

A Lifelong Resident of Monroe, MI

I am a lifelong resident of Monroe, Michigan, and I truly appreciate the quiet, close-knit community that makes our city such a wonderful place to live and work. My husband Jim and I have been happily married for 33 years. Together, we have three adult children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, all of whom bring joy and pride to our lives.

Outside of work, Jim and I enjoy an active lifestyle that includes ballroom dancing and playing golf together—two hobbies that keep us moving and having fun. I believe that staying active, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying the little things are key to a happy and healthy life.

My Role at Monroe Dental Care

At Monroe Dental Care, I strive to make every patient feel welcome and supported from the moment they walk in the door. My responsibilities include:

• Scheduling dental appointments to fit patients’ needs and preferences

• Assisting with insurance billing to make the payment process smooth and stress-free

• Answering questions and addressing concerns to help patients feel informed and confident about their dental care

• Maintaining an organized and efficient front desk environment

Whether I’m greeting a first-time visitor or catching up with one of our long-standing patients, my goal is to ensure that every interaction is friendly, professional, and helpful. I take pride in being part of a dental office that values patient communication, offers exceptional care, and strives to create a comfortable experience for every person we serve.
